Ostatnio znalazłem ciekawą wtyczkę do WordPress’a pod nazwą – qTranslate.

Co robi qTranslate ?

Celem wtyczki jest szybkie przełączanie się między językami w systemie WordPress. Blog wyposażony w tą wtyczkę pozwala na przetłumaczenie treści postów na dowolnie wybrany język.

Wtyczka działa również w samym panelu administracyjnym – co pozwala w łatwy sposób na przetłumaczenie całego interfejsu.

Co ciekawe – istnieje możliwość pobrania większej ilości języków.

Po konfiguracji wszystkich ustawień plugin’u należy przeciągnąć widget do paska bocznego, aby każdy użytkownik strony mógł wybrać język, który mu odpowiada.

Zalety:

Tłumaczenie postów na dowolny język;
Szybkie i łatwe przełączanie się między językami zarówno na przeglądanej stronie jak i w panelu administracyjnym;
Wtyczka pozwoli dotrzeć do większej liczby internetowych „turystów” i pokaże, że zależy Ci na nich, wyświetlając wpisy w ich języku ojczystym;
Nie trzeba edytować plików językowych na serwerze, wystarczy pobrać odpowiedni język w konfiguracji wtyczki;
Po wybraniu odpowiedniego języka do adresu zostanie doklejona końcówka np. /lang=en (en od english).

Minusy:

Jeśli chcemy uzyskać lepsze tłumaczenie dla postów, to niestety jest ono płatne.
